Overview
A one and a half minute music video concepted, photographed, edited and produced over the course of eight hours.
A self-referential over-dramatization of the life-or-death fervor experienced while pulling an all-nighter for an assignment. (And experienced during the actual production of this work.)
A parody of tv spy/thriller/detective show opening credit sequences.
Process
Shot partially on a digital still camera, and partially on a cellphone-cam. Too bad I tried to set all the type in Final Cut. If I knew then what I know now, I would have done the type in After Effects. But this is how learning occurs.
Basically, I spent about three hours sticking my camera into my classmates’ faces while they worked in our shared studio space, and ended up with close to one hundred 10-second movie clips. I then spent the rest of the evening editing in Final Cut.
